Ace Hood talks “Trials & Tribulations,” family, and more with Power 99 [AUDIO]

Five years deep in the game, Ace Hood appears to finally be getting the respect he so much deserves. Because of him being DJ Khaled’s artist, a lot of hip hop critics wrote him off for just being his sidekick. But, there is a lot more to Ace Hood and Birdman made this clear when he said he was the main reason he took in We the Best Music Group.

Last summer, DJ Khaled officially left the roster of Def Jam, when he moved his entire label, We the Best Music Group. Birdman spoke on the deal, saying he was excited to have the chance to work so closely with Ace Hood. But, the deal also includes Mavado and Vado, who joined the label back in January.

Recently, Ace Hood talked to Philadelphia’s Power 99. Currently, Ace Hood is preparing for the summer release of Trials & Tribulations, his fourth studio album. Ace Hood talked to MinaSayWhat about his upcoming album, his family life, and much more during their interview.
