Much like he did in 2012, Ace Hood is starting 2013 off strong and is releasing a number of songs and music videos. These releases are coming from his new mixtape, Starvation 2, a follow-up to 2012’s Starvation. Several changes have taken place for Ace Hood, as he continues to fight for position.
Birdman and DJ Khaled completed their deal, two years in the making, when We the Best was moved over to Cash Money Records. During the press release about the new business deal, Birdman expressed excitement in working with Miami’s Ace Hood. A fan of his music, Birdman wants to turn him into a star.
Ace Hood is currently riding the success of his “Need Your Love” single that features frequent collaborator, Trey Songz. The song will likely be included on Ace Hood’s upcoming Cash Money debut album. In the meantime, it will be on Starvation 2, which is coming on January 10.
