Acrobat injured after fall at Coachella
Coachella opened its first weekend of their 2023 festival in Indio, CA, as Friday was headlined by a major performance by Bad Bunny. The April 14 and 21 dates are also accompanied by stars such as Burna Boy, Gorillaz, Becky G, Metro Boomin, Pusha T, and more.
However, on day 2 of Coachella on April 15, there was a very concerning incident that occurred. An acrobat dancer fell after dancing in the air for five minutes, according to TMZ. As a result, she took a hard fall between two speakers. It also hasn’t been revealed what exactly caused her to lose her balance.
Once the woman fell to the ground, she was reportedly seen motionless. Others quickly ran over to tend to her, as paramedics soon arrived at the scene. Fans in attendance also attempted to get the DJ to stop the music, so the acrobat could receive full medical attention. However, the woman was seen blinking, as she apparently still had consciousness. At this moment, her current status regarding her injuries is unknown.
