Adele’s “30,” Earns Biggest Debut For An Album, in 2021

A week ago, Adele delivered her first album since 2015, with “30.” This is her fourth in total, as it was led by the chart-topping “Easy On Me” single.

Adele fans were treated to 12 songs, with the only featured artist being Eroll Garner. Many anticipated that 30 would be Adele’s fourth straight number one album, and now, this is officially the case.

According to Chart Data, 30 will debut at number one, on the Billboard 200 chart, with 838,000 units. This is also the biggest debut for an album, this year. 30 also had a whopping 679,000 units, that were in pure sales.

Taylor Swift’s “Red (Taylor’s version), is at number two, with 169,000 units. Drake’s “Certified Lover Boy,” is at number three, with 53,000 units.
