Adolfo Quiñones, aka Shabba-Doo, from “Breakin'” movie, has died at the age of 65, after saying he felt “sluggish,” the day before, but had tested negative for COVID-19

Shabba-Doo dead at 65When people speak on the cultural impact hip hop has had, it goes way deeper than just the music. The culture is the art, the graffiti on the walls, the murals, and the movies. In 1984, a few movies came out, which displayed the culture.

Breakin’, a movie about the hip hop dance culture, was big in making hip hop mainstream. The movie not only starred the late Fred Berry, of “What’s Happenin!!” fame, but also Adolfo Quiñones. Because of the movie, Quiñones is best-known as Shabba-Doo.

Just yesterday, Adolfo Quiñones, aka Shabba-Doo, posted a photo of himself, laying in bed. Despite admitting he was feeling “sluggish,” he was all-smiles, revealing he was on the mend. Sadly, this morning, his family revealed he died, this morning, with no cause of death mentioned, but did say he tested negative for COVID-19.
