Adrien Broner Sent To Jail After Being Held In Contempt Of Court; Judge Said He Lied About Only Having $13 Even Though He Flashed Money on Instagram; Originally Claimed He Couldn’t Pay $800,000 Judgement For 2018 Sexual Assault Case [VIDEO]

Adrien Broner seems to always find trouble. In this latest case, he was ordered to pay a judgement over $800,000 regarding a 2018 sexual case. He forcibly kissed a woman, Katherine Larson, at a Cleveland nightclub following the Warriors winning another NBA championship as it went down in the city that night.

Broner still hasn’t turned over documents and paid this amount so he was scheduled to appear in court on Monday afternoon, per Cleveland.com. Last month, he claimed that he only had $13 dollar to his name but on Monday, Judge Nancy Margaret Russo sensed lies. She pulled up an Instagram video of him flashing money on Instagram and wondered how he only has $13.

“Mr. Broner has continually defied every [court order] I’ve given,” said Russo. “The jig is up today.”

Broner ended up explaining how friends give him money such as boxing star, Gervonta Davis, and promoter, Al Haymon. Broner added that he doesn’t even know if he owns or leases his cars and the same goes for his home. He added that his friends him money because he helped them out in the past. Broner has since been sent to jail.

Broner had recently started training again after over a year and a half away from boxing. His last fight was in January where he lost in 12 rounds. Broner’s last win was all the way back in February 2017 vs Adrian Granados. Prior to heading back training, AB had planned to release a hip-hop album titled ‘Still Adjusting To Fame.’ The tracklist had features from Yella Beezy, Boosie Badazz, and more. He was having trouble getting clearance on features from artists such as Meek Mill and 42 Dugg, though. In September, AB put out the single, “Static,” along with the music video for it.
