Afro Nation announces lineup for upcoming inaugural Miami festival; Headliners include Burna Boy and Wizkid

Burna Boy and Wizkid to headline Afro Nation Miami festival

Over the past three years, Afrobeats has created numerous superstars. These include names such as Burna Boy, Wizkid, Tems, Davido, and more. Many of these acts have been dominating charts, and have established themselves as dominant forces in the industry overall.

Afro Nation has also become one of the biggest Afrobeats festivals in the world. Recently, they’ve expanded to Miami, as they’ll be holding their inaugural festival there from May 27-28, at LoanDepot Park. Among the headlining acts for that weekend will include Burna Boy and Wizkid. Others set to hit the stage in South Florida, are Rema and Asake, Beenie Man, CKay, BNXN, and Black Sherif, and Franglish.

Last summer, Burna released his sixth studio album, “Love, Damini.” That project went on to debut at number 14 in the US, on the Billboard 200 chart. Wizkid put out his fifth studio album, “More Love, Less Ego,” in November. That also did well, with a number 59 debut.

General on-sale tickets for Afro Nation Miami will be available on January 13, at 1PM ET. Fans can access a special Afro Nation pre-sale here.
