Akademiks says he spoke to Offset, and doesn’t believe that a full Migos breakup will happen [VIDEO]

Akademiks says Offset isn’t heading towards Migos breakup

This week, social media assumed that Migos would break up, after a decade together as a group. This was due to Quavo and Takeoff releasing a new single together, “Hotel Lobby.” This is under their “Unc & Phew” name.

When the announcement of Quavo and Takeoff’s single was made, fans also noticed that Offset unfollowed both of them, on Instagram. This led many to believe that Migos were officially done, as a group.

However, in a new interview with TMZ, Akademiks said he recently spoke to Offset. Akademiks says there may be some tense feelings right now, but doesn’t believe there’s any beef that will cause an actual Migos breakup. TMZ also tried to speak to Quavo in person about the situation, but he avoided the Migos breakup questions. Quavo was more than happy to speak on the Hotel Lobby single, though.

No member of Migos has publicly spoken on a public breakup, yet. In the meantime, Quavo and Takeoff are continuing to promote their “Hotel Lobby” single. Last summer, Migos released their first album since January 2018, “Culture III.” That became their third straight top two album.
