Akon Announces in Atlanta, That He is Relaunching His Konvict Muzik Record Label, as Konvict Kulture

Akon has been a dominant force in the music industry for over 17 years. It all started with his 2004 debut album, “Trouble,” which contained the smash-hit single, “Locked Up.”

Akon then proceeded to take over 2006 heavily, as he put out his “Konvicted” album, which also had massive hits such as ”Smack That” feat. Eminem and “I Wanna Love You” feat. Snoop Dogg. This is all while his Konvict Muzik record label was shining, too. From that point, Akon ventured into other huge business deals and signing pop stars such as Gwen Stefani.

Today in Atlanta, Akon has also announced that he is relaunching his Konvict Muzik label. It is being renamed as “Konvict Kulture.” This was revealed at a Core DJs event near the downtown area. While Akon is now pushing his record label heavily, he is also continuing to work on building his own country in Africa.
