Recently, the history of Uptown Records has come into play, first with the Andre Harrell interview on “The Breakfast Club” and now “Unsung.” The latest episode of the TV One docuseries centered around Al B. Sure!, one of the label’s first artists. It makes for a good story.

Al B. Sure! is best-known for “Nite and Day,” this week’s Wednesday Throwback. However, Al B. Sure! has several platinum albums and big singles under his belt. All of this was recounted earlier tonight and is being replayed now.
