The man the people love to hate is Jay-Z and there are many reasons a lot of people feel this way about him. A lot of it stems from him coming from almost nothing to be one of the most-powerful businessmen hip hop has ever seen. Instead of saying this, rumors and myths are created about him.
High-end fashion retailer, Barney’s, landed themselves in hot water when they had law enforcement pursue two black people who made big purchases. Fans were outraged and soon acted out against the store. Soon, many realized Jay-Z was doing business with the store and they reacted against him, too.
Already, Jay-Z has issued a statement about Barney’s and his affiliation with the popular store. Since then, there have still been rumblings by the fans about the ongoing situation. Now, Al Sharpton has given his take on what’s going on and he released his statement in defense of Jay-Z.
