Alabama man runs over an off duty cop in his own yard
Division has sadly taken over the nation, as people are divided in so many ways. As a result, it looks as if the battle lines are drawn. Racially, there is division and those differences have led to much cruelty being shown among humans. Furthermore, there is also a divide between law enforcement and the civilians. While much of that is racially motivated, the division actually runs deeper. An Alabama officer became a victim while he was in his own front yard. A civilian wound up running the officer over.
Over the past three years, people around the country have been protesting. People have different causes that they have taken to the streets to speak out against. Many protests have centered around law enforcement. A lot of law enforcement issues have centered around innocent lives being claimed by the police. While that’s bad enough, many of the offending police officers have moved on with their lives without any form of consequence.
In Alabama, a police officer was off duty, in his own front yard enjoying his day. While he was outside, a man driving a Jeep crashed into a tree. As a result, the police officer got his walkie talkie and ran into the house to call in the situation. After that, he came out to arrest the man. However, the driver ended up running the officer over in the yard. Determined, the officer got up and still tried to chase the driver, but he wound up fleeing the scene.
