Alexis Arquette, transgender pioneer, died this morning after suffering from illness

Shocking news took place, earlier this afternoon, as Alexis Arquette passed away. The past few years have seen Arquette out of the spotlight, but many older stars have suffered from this. But, while out of the limelight, Alexis Arquette fell ill.

Unfortunately, Alexis Arquette, a well-known actress and member of the famous Arquette family, died from her illness. She was one of the first high-profile transgender women and opened the door for many others. This afternoon, she died surrounded by family.

Alexis Arquette reportedly died while listening to David Bowie’s “Starman,” with her family. The news is shocking, as no one in the public knew of her illness. As of now, the illness is unknown to the masses, but will likely be revealed later.
