Not too many artists were as hot as French Montana and Wiz Khalifa were with the mixtapes before they became well-known. As soon as both began to gain momentum, they ended up being met by Rick Ross with an offer. At the same time, the two also received offers from Jay-Z and Diddy.
French Montana signed with Diddy, making his announcement on “106 & Park” back in 2011. But, Wiz Khalifa opted to build his own relationship directly with Atlantic Records, which paid off for him. Both rappers are working on new albums they hope to get out this year.
As the month of January 2014 comes to a close, French Montana has been on a strong roll. Last year, a lot of people felt French Montana disappeared after releasing his album, but this hasn’t been how it is to start out 2014. French Montana and Wiz Khalifa ended up getting back in the studio and the picture wound up on Instagram.
