In a little under two weeks, The Defiant Ones will premiere on HBO. It is a documentary about Jimmy Iovine and Dr. Dre. Already, Jimmy Iovine has spoken with Hip-HopVibe.com about The Defiant Ones and his relationship with Dr. Dre, plus the legacy.

Allen Hughes is the director who helped bring The Defiant Ones to life, as he got Jimmy Iovine and Dr. Dre together for this. As Jimmy Iovine told HHV, he already pitched HBO a documentary on Interscope. This is something Allen Hughes also spoke on.

Sway recently hosted Allen Hughes on “Sway In The Morning.” During their interview, Allen Hughes discussed Dr. Dre, talking about Tyrese almost sinking the Apple deal, Dre apologizing to Dee Barnes, Death Row, and more. He also spoke on Jimmy Iovine and the documentary.
