Ambition: Wale and Jay-Z hold a meeting [PHOTO]

Five years ago, Wale was one of the most-hyped artists coming into the game. He was expected to become a breakout star, but his first record deal soured, despite having the backing of Jay-Z and Roc Nation. A new deal with Rick Ross over at Maybach Music opened many doors for Wale.

This month marks three years Wale has been on Maybach Music and he has a string of hits to go along with it. His string of hit records picked up, but when Wale promoted his last album, The Gifted, he rolled with Roc Nation. The summer of 2013 was very good to the Roc Boys.

Jay-Z’s comeback is still going strong and he recently held a meeting with Wale. It looked like very serious business, as both Jay-Z and Wale were looking over some papers. Wale posted this onto his Instagram and it looks like it’s up to the viewers to interpret what’s going on there, but it will come as no surprise if there’s a new endorsement on the way.
