There is no such thing as a Kanye West event without there being any kind of controversy. The phrase, “controversy sells,” has propelled Kanye to new heights of success. His vision of being the premier fashion designer is coming to fruition.
Kanye West’s partnership with TIDAL, the streaming company Jay Z purchased to give artists more control, is giving him a leg up. Instead of just showing off his work at fashion shows, he streams it on TIDAL. It gives people more incentive to join his movement.
However, after his open casting call, Kanye West allowed one person in who is now the center of controversy. One model, Amina Blue, was present and she ended up tossing her shoes during her walk. This has made several people on Twitter blame her for ruining the show, although others believe it was all done to hype the event.
