Amina Buddafly was introduced to the VH1 audience, during season four of “Love & Hip Hop.” That season, the show wisely chose to focus on Peter Gunz’s life. As a result, both Amina and Tara Wallace were introduced. Their levels of dysfunction brought the show record ratings.
The fifth season of “Love & Hip Hop” saw a lot of unexpected moments. Amina Buddafly was included in one of them. Introduced in the previous season, Amina was at odds with Tara Wallace over Peter Gunz. It all changed when Amina and Tara decided to put their kids first.
Amina Buddafly allowed the birth of her daughter, Cori, to air on the show. During her pregnancy, Amina Buddafly recorded her album, which is called My Music. It’s been well-received. With the season of the show over, Amina has shifted her focus fully to her music.
