Andre Iguodala is not expected to start in Game 7 #WarriorsvsThunder #Warriors #DubNation #NBAPlayoffs

Andre IguodalaLast season, the Golden State Warriors won a then-franchise record 67 games and went to the NBA Finals. Playing against LeBron James in his fifth consecutive Finals appearance, the Warriors struggled. It was obvious the big stage made Steph Curry nervous, early on.

After three games, the Golden State Warriors were down two games to one to the Cleveland Cavaliers. Because of this, Steve Kerr made a bold move in the lineup. Early in the season, Kerr asked Andre Iguodala, a former franchise player/all-star to be benched and then started him.

Andre Iguodala’s play altered the series and the Warriors finished 3-0 to capture their first title in forty years. Surprisingly, Iguodala won Finals MVP over Steph Curry, but remains a bench player, normally. In their series against the Thunder, the Warriors were down 3-1 and Iguodala was key in helping tie this series for game seven, but Kerr says he will not start tonight.
