Andre Iguodala announced his retirement, this morning, after a legendary career. In 2015, Iguodala surprised the world, when he won the Finals MVP. For years, people have debated whether Steph Curry, or Andre, deserved the trophy. In 2022, Iguodala returned to the Warriors, and helped them win their fourth title of this era. As a result, he was talked into playing last season. Now, he’s retired, and discussing it on “First Take.”

Andre Iguodala was traded from the Warriors in 2019. Eventually, he landed with the Miami Heat, and played with them in the 2020 NBA Finals. By 2022, he was a champion with the Warriors again. As a result, he returned for 2023. However, Andre really wanted to retire and focus on his venture capital firm, something he’s discussed before.
