On Monday, the Golden State Warriors had all of the momentum, as they beat the Cavaliers in Cleveland. Finally, Stephen Curry had the big game he needed and most felt just a solid game would give him Finals MVP. But, most forgot the series wasn’t over, but the Cavs knew.
LeBron James and Kyrie Irving both scored 41 points and propelled their team to a fifteen point road win, facing elimination. The game was bruising and the Warriors lost a key player. With Draymond Green already out, Andrew Bogut also went down.
Initially, there was hope of Andrew Bogut returning, if not to complete the game. But, after a few days of analysis and testing, a definitive answer has been given. Andrew Bogut is out for the rest of the NBA Finals, which will only be one more game if Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson have their way.
