Universal Republic’s knew they had something on their hands when Angel Haze was added to their roster. Angel Haze definitely has an interesting background and a offbeat personality. Much of this personality leaks into her music, as she successfully put her own spin on classic records with Classick.
Angel Haze’s rendition of Eminem’s “Cleanin’ Out My Closet” gained her critical-acclaim. There are some who even prefer her version over the original. Growing up, it was clear Angel Haze had a future in entertainment. After all, after spending her early years in a cult, her options were sort of limited.
During a recent visit to Shade 45, Angel Haze spoke to “Sway in the Morning” and she opened up on her past. The primary topic of discussion was her growing up in a cult during her time in Michigan. On a lighter note, Angel Haze also performed a few of her songs.
