Angel Reese rejects Jill Biden’s apology and praises Obama
Angel Reese went from being virtually unknown to being the most controversial figure in the media. It all stems from Reese taunting Caitlin Clark during the NCAA championship game. Such a big deal was made out of the entire situation. As a result, Jill Biden offered both LSU and the University of Iowa to come to the White House. In turn, Reese called the First Lady a “joke.” After the backlash, Mrs. Biden apologized. However, Angel Reese didn’t accept the apology.
Angel Reese has definitely benefitted from the newfound fame. First, she made the gesture at Caitlin Clark. After that, Reese received a ton of media attention. This led to her getting an interview on “NBA Today,” where she previously never was mentioned, let alone doing interviews. The increase in exposure led to a massive increase in her social media followers. Currently, all of her posts on Twitter are going viral.
Angel Reese definitely heard Jill Biden’s apology. However, she does not accept the apology. As a result, when she caught wind of the apology, Reese rejected it. Instead of accepting the apology, Reese said she was not going to the White House. Reese did an interview where she was asked about what Jill Biden said. Here, she made it clear she didn’t agree with what was said. In turn, Angel Reese said she would go to the Obamas, as opposed to going to the White House.
