Advances in technology have had an unexpected impact on society. It has unmasked a lot of civil injustices that have gone on for far too long, which has opened new topics of discussion. Camera phones and social media have exposed many police officers abusing their powers.

One of the most-recent cases happened right in Warsaw, NC, which isn’t too far from the HHV headquarters. There was a young man who got kicked out of Waffle House and ended up getting beaten by the police. Even though he admitted wrongdoing, that was excessive.

Angela Rye returned to “The Breakfast Club,” where she sat down with DJ Envy, Angela Yee, and Charlamagne Tha God to discuss the most-recent cases of police misconduct. This led to a conversation about politics, and who to vote for, when the fall comes. There are major elections taking place, in November.
