For years, there has been a lot of talk about the beef between Power 105.1 and Hot 97. Outside of “The Breakfast Club” and Hot 97’s morning show, the beef appears to have all but died down. In fact, the members of Hot 97 have shown love to Angie Martinez since her “power move.”
But, there have been more members of Hot 97 to leave the station. The past few months have seen both Mister Cee and DJ Cipha Sounds leave the station. Mister Cee is DJ-ing at another station, while Cipha Sounds joined Roc Nation, leading many to believe a “power move” was next.
DJ Cipha Sounds denied joining Angie Martinez over at Power 105.1, but she got him to come over just once. As everyone knows, DJ Cipha Sounds DJ-ed Angie Martinez’ show over at Hot 97 and he did the same for Angie Martinez yesterday. She revealed this bit of information on Instagram.
