Definitely an icon in the hip hop media world, Angie Martinez changed the game. Not only is she well-respected in the world of media, she maintains the respect from all of the biggest names. If anyone has a book-worthy life, it is Angie Martinez.
Recently, Angie Martinez released a book, My Voice, where she shares intimate details of her career. The book release comes a year and a half after she joined Jay Z’s Roc Nation under a management deal. She has since done tons of media for her book release.
Angie Martinez talked to Sway at Shade 45 for “Sway In The Morning” to discuss her career. She talked about the My Voice book release, which brought up her history in the game. During the interview, Angie Martinez spoke on her relationship with Jay Z and the evolution of hip hop.
