Last week, rising Chicago R&B star, Ann Marie, was charged with possession of a firearm during commission of a felony and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. This was due to an incident at the Intercontinental hotel in the Buckhead area of Atlanta where she claimed that a gun she owned fell off a table and shot her friend, Jonothan Wright, in the forehead.

Marie has now been able to post $60,000 bond, according to TMZ. There are some restrictions though as a judge ordered her to be placed on house arrest. If she must travel due to her career, that has to get approved. Marie will also be forced to wear an ankle monitor and not have any firearms on her.

Marie will also have to let the court have a 24-hour notice before she makes any appointments. Proof will also have to be provided for these appointments. As far as Wright goes, she cannot contact him, his family members or any of his associates. Marie also has to at least be 200 yards away from him.

Marie has worked with artists such as Lil Durk in 2017, Jeremih in 2019, and Yung Bleu and G Herbo this year. Her latest projects are ‘Pretty Psycho‘ and ‘Tripolar 2‘ in 2019.
