During times like these, it is easy to complain, and easy to give up. Not everyone gets the results they want, no matter how strong, or how talented they are. Sometimes even the best laid out plans never come into fruition, but people still have to keep living.
Anthony Anderson represents this, every time he hosts the NAACP Image Awards, more than anyone. Just the existence of the NAACP, itself, shows life is unfair. But, the perseverance has allowed for forty-eight celebrations of excellence.
In his opening of the show, Anthony Anderson spoke on these things that have taken place. With each joke, he made it clear that what is going on doesn’t define anyone, unless they choose to allow it to do so. His jokingly, yet serious, message of continuing to fight won out with the people watching and they’re tweeting about it.
