Anthony Davis went viral for his facial expression and body language, as LeBron James set the record for most NBA all-time points. Many in the media, along with fans, felt Anthony Davis didn’t seem to happy for LeBron. After all, LeBron and others have said AD has to become the Lakers’ leader, if they want to be a good team, again. That’s hard to do if LeBron takes all the attention. AD has now explained the situation. He was upset, but because the Lakers lost the game.

Anthony Davis has dealt with nonstop injuries, after the Lakers won the 2020 championship. This last injury took a little while for AD to heal from. In addition, when he got back into the lineup, his presence seemed to hurt the Lakers more than it helped. However, when Davis asserted himself, the Lakers played like the NBA’s best team. Unfortunately, the multitude of early season losses prevented the Lakers from having a better record.

Anthony Davis finally spoke with the media about that situation. Everybody noticed that AD didn’t look happy, while LeBron James was breaking the record. It turns out, Anthony Davis was not happy. While, he was proud of LeBron for breaking the record, there was more going on. Many overlooked how the Lakers still lost to the Thunder, the other night. Both teams are competing for a playoff spot and it’s not looking good for the Lakers. All of that is why AD didn’t look very happy, as LeBron broke the record.
