The hottest show on Wednesday nights is “Empire,” which airs on FOX and it is making history. Produced by Lee Daniels, “Empire” is the first scripted drama about the hip hop industry. Each episode features the developments of the family business, a record label.
Terrence Howard and Taraji P. Henson star in the show as the divorced head of the music family. Two of the sons are artists on the record label, while the oldest son handles the business end. Cameos from some big names have been included on the show.
North Carolina’s own, the legendary Anthony Hamilton, made a cameo on tonight’s episode of “Empire.” His appearance was a part of Terrence Howard’s character, Luscious’s, proposal to his girlfriend and Hamilton performed his record, “Point of It All.” The fans loved the appearance and they went wild when Anthony Hamilton sang.
