Apollo Nida sentenced to eight years in prison for bank fraud

During the 2010 season, Phaedra Parks and Apollo Nida joined the cast.

Apollo Nida, Phaedra’s husband, was fresh off a prison stint when he first joined the cast of the show. After four years on the series, Apollo has proven to be a devoted father and husband, with being an overall good guy. Standing as one of the more popular people on the show, Apollo had some issues with Kenya Moore.

Facing bank fraud charges, Apollo Nida appeared in court yesterday and he ended up being sentenced to eight years in prison. Nida is accused of scamming people of over $2 million through a wiring scam. He will serve out his prison sentence in Atlanta to be close to Phaedra and his children, according to Vlad TV.
