Even with all of the hype surrounding Dr. Dre and the NWA biopic, it looks like Apple Music is facing struggle. Previously, there was a lot said about the struggles of TIDAL, the streaming serviced Jay Z is backing. A lot was said about it, but the struggle isn’t exclusive.

When Jay Z added big names in music to TIDAL, Apple Music soon launched and they added big names. Among the biggest names on their roster are Dr. Dre, Pharrell, and Drake. Apple Music is where Dr. Dre released his long-awaited final album.

Two months into the Apple Music movement, numbers are in for the company. Apparently, the struggle TIDAL has faced is also being faced with Apple Music, despite being billed as the better service. Close to half of the Apple Music subscribers have terminated their accounts following the free trial period, 48% to be exact.
