Earlier this month, April Pruitt Byrd went viral, on Facebook, after inflammatory remarks came from her account. She dropped the “n-word,” several times. Also, her account said she didn’t care about black people.

Given her work as a medical care professional, these comments were alarming, and sent to her employers. Along with this, people took matters into their own hands. According to Priority Life Care, Byrd’s employers, Byrd has been receiving death threats.

The CEO of Priority Life Care has spoken out, saying April Pruitt Byrd was the victim of racial attack. They said investigations were done and they concluded that Byrd’s account was compromised. With that, Byrd has been cleared of wrongdoing, but they are now searching for the person who took Byrd’s account over.
