Arsenio Hall credits Nas’ lyrics for inspiring his comeback [VIDEO]

After all the things that went down in 2012, a lot of people thought it would be a tough year to follow in 2013. Several big-name hip hop artists made their comebacks last year, but even more have returned in 2013. This is the first year hip hop will have new albums from Lil Wayne, Jay-Z, Drake, Eminem, and Rick Ross on the mainstream.

The biggest comeback out of them all is arguably Arsenio Hall. He ended his original show in 1994 and he has taken a nineteen year hiatus from the game. Arsenio Hall returned this week with “The Arsenio Hall Show” and it is as if he has not even missed a beat.

It turns out, Arsenio Hall turned to one of 2012’s legendary comebacks for inspiration for his own comeback. Nas dropped a classic album last year with Life is Good and his lyrics helped inspire Arsenio Hall. When he appeared on the show last night, Nas talked to Arsenio and he told him that his music inspired him to come back.
