The future of award shows is now, with the YouTube Music Awards uniting all the big names in music. Hip hop was more than properly represented in the ceremony. A number of hip hop artists won during the award show.

Presented in an innovative way, all of the winners for the award show were announced at once. After the announcement, music videos from each of the winners were released. This included the premiere of Migos’ new single, “One Night.”

The YouTube Music Awards was shared straight to YouTube, so there is no chance of missing it. Initially, the YouTube Music Awards began in 2013, but took a hiatus to revamp in 2014. Back, there was content from Beyonce, Big Sean, Dej Loaf, Drake, Hoodie Allen, J. Cole, Jason Derulo, Kendrick Lamar, Migos, Miley Cyrus, Nicki Minaj, Pharrell, Rihanna, Snoop Dogg, The Weeknd, Tinashe, and many more.
