Asake announces dates for Lungu Boy World Tour
Over the last several years, Asake has emerged as one of the biggest Afrobeats artists in the world. In 2023, he released his sophomore album, “Work Of Art.” That contained 14 songs, including buzzing hits such as “Lonely At The Top” and “Basquiat.” Moreover, H.E.R. even appeared on the Lonely At The Top remix, in November.
Furthermore, Asake has since began 2024 with his “Only Me” single, in January. Last month, he also appeared on Victony’s “Stubborn” single.
Meanwhile, Asake has also just announced a headlining world tour. This is his Lungu Boy World Tour, which kicks off on June 26, at the Afro Nation festival in Portimao, Portugal. 14 dates will be available in total, as the tour will conclude on October 6, in Gold Coast, Australia.
In North America, tickets will be available starting with an artist presale beginning Wednesday, June 12 at 10am local time. Additional presales will run throughout the week ahead of the general on sale, which starts on Friday, June 14 at 10am local time at asaketour.com. European tickets will be available starting with a Mastercard presale in select markets and an artist presale beginning Wednesday, June 12 at 10am local time.
