Ashanti talks Murder Inc., Nelly and Irv Gotti, Prodigy, 50 Cent beef/apology, and more with “The Breakfast Club” [VIDEO]

Still, after all these years, when people think of Ashanti, they also think of Ja Rule and the hits they made together. In 2002, Ashanti immediately became the biggest new artist in the game. Since then, Ashanti has seen her career change and she is now a personality at FUSE TV.

Ashanti released her Braveheart album and the album features appearances from such names as Rick Ross and French Montana. The album is led by the “I Got It” single featuring Rick Ross. Her album received support from all the big names in hip hop and this includes Ja Rule, her former musical partner.

In promotion of the album, Ashanti arrived at Power 105.1 to talk to “The Breakfast Club.” She talked to Charlamagne Tha God, Angela Yee, and DJ Envy about her new album and also about her history in the game.
