It’s nothing new to see social media fawning over Ashanti. Literally, since she’s been in the game, she’s been winning. In 2001, she got signed, and was writing for Jennifer Lopez, and singing background for her.

Before her debut album, she sang the hook on two of the biggest songs of the year. Then, her debut single became the next major hit of 2002, a feat she accomplished on her first two albums. When music slowed down, she was one half of a popular hip hop couple.

Ashanti became single, in 2014, and since then, she has owned social media, with her thirst traps. This afternoon, Ashanti turned 40 years old, and she shared some birthday pics. The one above is the one that has shut Twitter down, as fans are saying that this 40-year-old is out doing women in their twenties and thirties.
