Last week, Asian Doll was met with plenty of slander, on the day that Young Dolph was shot and killed. This was due to her timing of revealing that Dolph supposedly offered her, to go on tour with him. Twitter users soon brought up an old 2014 tweet by Asian, where she called Dolph “trash.”
Now, the Dallas rapper is the subject of even more criticism. Asian took to Twitter, to announce that her birthday party will be held in Atlanta, on December 7.
At the same time, Asian says that this will be an Indian-themed party, as she titled it “Asian Doll Escapes To India.” She added that the theme is “Bollywood,” and attendees must follow the Indian theme dress code. The venue that the party will be held at, is Revel.
Despite the announcement, users on Twitter are claiming that this theme is cultural appropriation. They also called out that the music in Asian Doll’s tweet, is Arabic, and not Indian. In the second birthday promotional post, Asian went on to not include the music.
