It’s hard to deny what Donald Glover has been doing over the past two years. The comedian-turned-rapper-turned-actor has seen his career come full circle. Via “Atlanta,” Donald Glover has made himself a household name, again.
When he raps, Glover is Childish Gambino, and he briefly ended the reign Drake has had over Billboard’s top spot in 2018. The success of the “This Is America” single has sparked a lot of discussion. In many ways, the song is an extension of the show.
Because it took nearly two years for “Atlanta” to return, many fans questioned if season three would even take place. All of the show’s main cast members, including Brian Tyree Henry, LaKeith Stanfield, and Zazie Beetz, have been heavily booked for other projects. Fans now know the show has a season three, but the question now is when it’ll return.
