A gifted new voice in the game, August Alsina is viewed by many as the new leader of the R&B movement. This places him in the same category as guys like Chris Brown and Trey Songz, artists he has worked with in the past. But, something went on that led to August Alsina and Trey Songz falling out.
Currently, August Alsina is in New York City doing his media run and he has discussed plenty of topics. When he talked to “The Breakfast Club,” August Alsina briefly discussed the Trey Songz situation. However, August Alsina had no intention of speaking on it when he visited BET for “106 & Park.”
When Keshia Chante asked August Alsina about Trey Songz, he immediately cut her off. Frustrated by the question, August Alsina told her that he requested to not speak on that matter and that “I already told y’all don’t ask me that shit.” Bow Wow jumped in and smoothed the situation over and helped him introduce the “Get Ya Money” music video with Fabolous.
