Early this year, August Alsina released his “I Luv This Shit” single with Trinidad James that became a major hit. Atlanta’s hip hop scene received a lot of attention because of Migos and Rich Homie Quan breaking through. Overlooked in all of this was August Alsina, who has hits too.
Rich Homie Quan assisted August Alsina on one of his newer records, “Ghetto,” which has gained radio support. Because of how closely August Alsina has worked with Rich Homie Quan’s camp, it was believed the two were close. Until recently, they might’ve been close.
Recently, both Rich Homie Quan and August Alsina were at the same Christmas concert performing. During Rich Homie Quan’s performance, August Alsina was rejected by security, as he wanted to watch onstage and they didn’t recognize him. Quickly, things got ugly and a person who watched the situation play out said August Alsina kicked Rich Homie Quan’s ass on Twitter.
