There were so many hip hop comebacks this year, they were really hard to keep count of. With so many stories circulating about Jay-Z, Eminem, Ja Rule, and the other rappers returning to the game, it’s easy to forget about some. Over the past year, AZ has released two solid projects, Last of a Dying Breed and the sequel.
Mixtape releases, both were hosted by DJ Mr. FX, whom Hip Hop Vibe had the chance to interview this past summer. On his own, DJ Mr. FX has a few major projects in the works and his work with AZ definitely helped cast a spotlight on him. AZ dropped the mixtapes in anticipation of his final album, Doe or Die II.
In the midst of all of this work, AZ got into a situation that has caused many to worry about him. A couple of hours ago, AZ got into a car accident, although he appears to be doing alright. Apparently, AZ is well because he alerted his followers on Twitter about what happened.
