Last week, AZ surprised fans with the release of his mixtape, Last of a Dying Breed, which was hosted by DJ Mr. FX. While the mixtape definitely made its way through the game, AZ fans are looking for the full Doe or Die II album. AZ first announced the album three years ago.
Back out with new music, AZ is making his media rounds. Though the mixtape is out, it is only an appetizer for the full course meal that is the long-awaited album. In the meantime, all fans have is the mixtape and many are talking about it. During the weekend, Hip Hop Vibe had a chance to speak with DJ Mr. FX about the tape.
Recently, AZ talked to Sway Calloway for Shade 45’s “Sway in the Morning.” One of the people AZ went to school with in the rap game was Jay-Z and he spoke on how he was in high school. In the second installment of his interview, AZ talked about having longevity in the rap game.
