In 2022, Bad Bunny was one of the biggest artists in the world. He dominated in the summer, after the release of his “Un Verano Sin Ti” album. That project debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart, and was at that top position for most of the summer, and heading into the fall.

Eventually, Bad Bunny had the highest streaming year for any artist in Spotify history, with over 20 million streams. He also accumulated the highest grossing touring year, for any artist in history. Bunny totaled over $435 million, in 2022. He sold out every stadium/arena concert he performed at, and accumulated thousands more fans, worldwide. This month, the Puerto Rican native was also confirmed to headline Coachella, this spring. Frank Ocean and Blackpink are also the other two headliners, for the annual festival in Indio, CA.

However, Bunny continues to reach even more historic milestones. According to Chart Data, he is now the first artist in 2023, to surpass 1 billion Spotify streams. It’s clear that Bunny’s 2022 momentum hasn’t slowed down at all, and continues to be one of the most dominant artists in the industry.
