Tonight, the Miami Heat are playing like a team that wants to tie this series at two games, apiece. The Heat are a tough and scrappy team, led by their tough and scrappy leaders. Bam Adebayo and Jimmy Butler are those guys.
The Miami Heat were not expected to make the NBA Finals, as they made the playoffs as a lower seed. Acquiring Jimmy Butler, before this season, they didn’t even make last year’s playoffs. Still, they made quick work of the Pacers, Bucks, and Celtics to get to the Finals.
Entering the Finals, the Miami Heat were expected to be devoured by the Los Angeles Lakers, led by LeBron James and Anthony Davis. In the first two games, it looked like it might go that way, but Jimmy Butler had a historic Game 3 to prevent the sweep. Tonight is a close game, with the Heat playing scrappy, highlighted by Bam Adebayo’s circus pass, which has Twitter going crazy.
