Bankroll Freddie in FBI custody on guns and drugs charges
Last year, Bankroll Freddie became one of the biggest rappers in the industry. He signed with Quality Control Music, and had a huge hit with “Pop It.” This also featured Megan Thee Stallion. That earned him a major buzz for the year, as he’s considered one of QC’s rising stars. Now, he’s ran into some serious legal issues.
According to TMZ, Freddie was arrested on Thursday night, in Arkansas. The Crittenden County Sheriff’s Office state that Freddie was arrested for resisting arrest, drug and firearm possession, and speeding. Police added that Freddie had guns and narcotics in his pick-up truck. He was initially pulled over by Arkansas State Police, on Interstate 55.
As of now, Freddie is said to be held on $2,870 bond. The Arkansas rapper is also currently in FBI custody. His team has yet to publicly address this ongoing situation.
Freddie’s last project came in April 2021, with his “Big Bank” album. This contained 14 tracks, with additional appearances from Young Dolph, BIG 30, 2 Chainz, EST Gee, and more. His latest single came a week ago on April 8, with “Pickin’ Sides.” This is also his first single of 2022.
