In November, it will officially be ten years since Barack Obama won the presidency. At the time, Obama was the world’s biggest phenomenon, as he got all kinds of support. When he was elected, he even won some states many felt he had no chance in.

This was the pre-“Love & Hip Hop” era, which Obama shouted out, on the campaign trail, in 2016. Back then, it was the VH1 “Celebreality” era, but Young Jeezy gave him a huge shout out. His single, dedicated to Obama, “My President,” united him and Nas.

Barack Obama, and Michelle Obama, his wife, made a huge impact on the world, that continues to be felt. As the Obamas enjoy their retirement, they received a huge honor, today. Their official portraits were unveiled, and HHV has the official videos, courtesy of CBS News, via The Shade Room.
