Christmas is the holiday of giving, but there was controversy over a mall featuring a Black Santa Claus. This helped Baron Davis to launch his own positive response to this. Giving back to his community, Davis is bringing Black Santa to life with his company.
Baron Davis first made a name for himself with the Charlotte Hornets, where he became an All-Star. He would play an additional two years with the team in New Orleans. Later, he played for the Warriors, Clippers, Cavaliers, and Knicks.
Recently, Baron Davis spoke to “The Breakfast Club,” talking to DJ Envy, Angela Yee, and Charlamagne Tha God. He discussed Christmas in Los Angeles, Baron’s influence on the community with Black Santa, and valuing each other as black people. The interview was very enlightening, as Baron has a plan to grow awareness during the next four years.
