Since 2014, Young Thug has consistently been one of the biggest names in the game. The Atlanta rapper built a strong relationship with Cash Money Records, as Birdman took him under his wing. This led to some big hits, early on in his career.

Soon after Young Thug began running with Birdman, Lil Wayne announced he wasn’t rocking with Cash Money, anymore. This led to Young Thug going from being Wayne’s biggest fan to being his biggest rival. From then, he began sending Wayne subliminal shots.

When Lil Wayne had a previous Tha Carter V release date, Thugger announced Tha Carter 6, which he was legally forced to retitled Barter 6. After that album dropped, the fans loved it. With Tha Carter V finally out, Young Thug announced Barter 7, which is trending all over Twitter.
